Hi, my name is Sharon Christine, known as Chris by my friends. I have three lovely daughters, eleven grandchildren, and two great grand children. I also have the worlds best hubby! I have two fur babies, Dylan Young, a very spoiled pug, and Rat Dog, also very spoiled! I love to crochet and read! But most of all I love to learn more about and praise my Father God! Now to add a little to this, Dylan has been in Heaven a few years, and I have another little fur baby, Hershey Bug. She is spoiled rotten and such a little brat! *S* No where near as well behaved as Dylan was! I will always miss my little boy! Hugz, Chris

I had the best surprise yesterday! I have made so may friends since we have been staying here in the motel. I was in the lobby talking to one that works the desk. She said she had something to give me if it would be ok. She said she knew how much my doll collection meant to me and she had the prettiest doll, her name is Rose, for me. It was so sweet of her! I came back to the room, showed hubby, then took her out of the box and set her up on the desk. Not to long after that there was a knock on the door. When I answered it was her and one of the house keeping employees that had been in the lobby when she gave the first one. The lady from housekeeping and her hubby had went and got me another. She is just precious with a little tear on her cheek and her teddybear missing an ear and her holding the ear in one hand. I am just so amazed at how wonderful everyone has been! I thank my Father daily for all my friends!

Still at the motel, although maybe it wont be but for a few more days. Insurance is renting a 39 ft rv to be placed on our land for us to live in till we can get a permanent rsidence. I hope we are in it by july 2 at least, that will be our 15th anniversary. I did make another doily today. I am so thankful to my friends that sent me patterns, thread, and hooks! Thank you guys for being there for me!

We are still at the motel, 18 days since our home burned. I have finally gotten pretty much finished with the insurance forms though and am taking some time to crochet. I finished this baby blanket this morning. I also broke down a few days ago, Monday I think, and bought my first baby! I know I should wait till we get out of this motel, it is sort of crowded, lol, and into a home again. But I just had to have one! Everyone has been so wonderful to us and helped in so many ways! I am so blessed to have so many wonderful friends!

I finally made time to do some crocheting! It has been almost 2 weeks since our home burned and I have stressed out each and every day with insurance forms and things. It is a very time comsuming thing to have to itemize each and everything that we had in our home and I know I will remember things later that I forgot to add. But I decided this morning when I got up that I was not going to deal with any of it today, and I haven't! lol! I decided I needed one day to rest and relax. And of course to me rest and relaxation means crochet! So I made this doily. Now in the morning I will have to get back to the insurance forms.

Monday. June 8/09. Joe's birthday, and a day we will never forget!

Dylan, (my pug) and I went for a walk and stopped to visit a friend in the neighborhood. After 3 police officers went by Sabine and I decided to check it out, never dreaming it was my home in flames! Then to add insult to injury, after losing everything we owned in our home we were thankful Joe's shop was unharmed. But yesterday morning we discovered some one went over there Wed night, cut the lock off the shop and stole the motorcycle, helmets, riding lawnmower, and lots of tools. Talk about kicking someone when they are down!

What do you do if you only have a very small amount of yarn left, but like me you are a pac-rat and hate to throw anything away? Well, you can see what I did! *S* Think I will try a few more like this.
