A couple of dolls Hun, (Joe, world's greatest hubby) gave me for Christmas. The one in the carrier is a Lee Midleton, Michael, still can't replace Jillian, but close! (smile) The one in the little green frog aoutfit is actually a sister to one of the first ones I got after the fire, I had been wanting to get her but Hun had no clue about any of this! The carrier that Michael is in is actaully a 10$ thrift store find, it was still new in the box! I do so love thrift stores! lol

It's been about 7 months since the fire now. Time does slowly heal all wounds, and even faster if you let Father God help! While we did basically lose everything, which you probably already know if you saw the photos of our home. The back wall downstairs was still standing. It had wall to wall floor to ceiling bookshelves. Most of the books that didn't burn were to drowned to save. But I did take a lot of my craft books out to hubbys shop to see if the might could be salvaged. Most were inside notebooks or those things you buy at office supply stores to put your mag's in to store on a shelve. So most of them where only heavily smoked damaged but very wet. Finally got up the nerve to bring one notebook in the house today to see what could be saved, actually I think only the notebook itselve will have to be thrown away! The mags are not in great shape, but good enough! So here are a few pics of what they look like. Some of the patterns closer to the middle aren't damaged at all!

It almost snowed today, lol!
