In 2004 I had a bad case of stupid and left my job to go to work at a place I wont name, (but people know what W~M stands for, lol) Anyway, I made a lot of good friends while I was there, so it wasn't totally bad! Pam and I decided to get together and do some crocheting. We made these squares and then decided we really didn't want to finish the blanket for the person we had started it for. Long story short, they have been in a bag in the back of my stuff every since. In doing all my "organizing" I decided to join them and to put in with my donations for Littel Toes. So..... one UFO is now a finished object! *S*

I have really been working hard this past week trying to get my things organized! I sometimes feel this will never happen! lol! And while this is just the beginning and I still have a lot to do, I am happy with what I have accomplished so far! Thank you Father for helping me with this! Some of this yarn was so-o-o-o tangled from where my grands had gotten into it! I don't believe a room full of kittens could have done this much damage! lol! Hubby said I had more patience than him to sit there and straighten it all out, that he would have thrown it all away. In thinking of this I realized I have never had any patience at all?! So it had to be my Fathers way of teaching me patience!

These are little treasures bags I have made to be sent to Little Toes for their donations to children in the hospitals. Each one has a little car in it and hopefully will help to cheer up a little one during his stay in the hospital.

After trying yesterday, this is my first attempt. I am going to work on them some more and see if I can do another one a little better. Also I did not have any white stuffing to put in it and it shows thru. I used a hdc but I think on the next one I will try sc to make the stitches tighter.

A couple of things I made today. Didn't get to go for a walk today, had to stick with the tread mill instead.

Daily walk

Dylan (my pug) and I have decided we need to start taking a daily walk. Today we walked a little over an hour. I carried my camera with me but unfortunately the beautiful horses were not on the side of the pasture beside the road. I did take a few nature shots though. The dog in one of the photos belongs to a neighbor. I wish I could get flowers like this to grow in my garden!

This is one of two little dresses I made today for donations to Little Toes. The other was just the opposite in color, main part light lavender trimmed in yellow. I threw it away! Yep! I made a bad mistake and never noticed till I finished it and I was not about to frog it and do over! *S* I forgot to make one of the arm holes! I made a dress with only one! lol! I could not believe I did that! Oh well, I guess we all make mistakes sometimes!
