About Me

- Hi, my name is Sharon Christine, known as Chris by my friends. I have three lovely daughters, eleven grandchildren, and two great grand children. I also have the worlds best hubby! I have two fur babies, Dylan Young, a very spoiled pug, and Rat Dog, also very spoiled! I love to crochet and read! But most of all I love to learn more about and praise my Father God! Now to add a little to this, Dylan has been in Heaven a few years, and I have another little fur baby, Hershey Bug. She is spoiled rotten and such a little brat! *S* No where near as well behaved as Dylan was! I will always miss my little boy! Hugz, Chris

Vanessa always has great interviews with some wonderful crafters that I wouldn't know about other wise. Then she has a give a way from the crafter. If you haven't checked out her blog you really should! You don't know what you are missing!
I was fortunate to win the give a way from Cats Paw Creations. My gifts arrived today and they could not be more beautiful! Thank you so much!

If "ifs and buts" were "candy and nuts" we would all have a Merry Christmas! *S* At least this is the saying I have always heard! But "if" I get my wishes on this issue then this will be our new home as soon as we get our settlement check so we can have the place cleared and get ready for a new home! We have looked at so many and Hon wants to look at more, but this is IT for me!

Today was a great thrift store day! Hon and I hit our three fav in Birmingham. Didn't spend much money (cause I didn't have much, *S*) but I think I got a lot for the money I did spend! I got several bags of yarn at 1.49 each. Hon and I always go our seperate ways when we go in one cause we are looking for different theings, but he keeps an eye out for what he thinks I want also. Today he came back to the buggy with a knitting machine because he knew I did have a couple similar ones. Mine were the ultiamte, but hey, that's ok! This one was 4.99 so that was really ok! I got a basket ball game to play with the grandsons with and a couple of Barbie cars to play with the gran daughters with. All in all had a great day but really do not need to go any where like that till after we get a new home! lol

Here are pictures of our next temporary home after the motel. It is pretty small, but actually not bad! I really will appreciate the roominess of a real home when we get one though! lol!
It is nice to be back on our own land and the first day Hon left to go the store and came back with a couple of chairs to sit in outside for me. He knows how much I love sitting outside! I told you I have the worlds best hubby!

This was our temporary home from June 8, 09 untill July 2, 09. We got to move out on our anniversary! How fun! (not, lol!) I really did enjoy my stay at the Jamison! I spent a lot of my time in the rockers sitting out front. The first thing Hon did when we got moved was to go to pick up a few items from the store that I forgot to get. He came back with a pleasant surprise for me, a pair of chairs to sit outside. He knows how much I love sitting outside! They were so nice to us and it felt like leaving family the day we moved with everyone stopping by to give me a hug and tell me how much they would miss us! They told me to come up any morning I wanted to and have breakfast in the dining room, how neat is that? But that chapter is over now and the chapter of my life has started of living in a travel trailor.
